Good Foods Co-op, a member-owned retail food cooperative located in the beautiful farm country of central Kentucky, is seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to fill the position of General Manager. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager is responsible for the overall operations of a $12 million retail grocery store. The General Manager position requires skills and experience in all aspects of grocery retailing, including excellent leadership, communication, and financial management skills, multi-tasking ability, and a strong customer service focus. We are looking for someone with the drive and initiative to continue our store’s core growth as well as undertake new ventures to fulfill our shared vision. The General Manager is responsible for working toward our existing Ends (mission) while carrying out the vision of Good Foods in tandem with our Board of Directors, employees, and owners. Our shared work is conducted by Policy Governance.
