HWFC is looking for a Personnel Administrator to act as a generalist and lead the HR function at our organization in support of our employees as we continue to grow.
Honest Weight Food Co-op (HWFC) is a member-owned and operated retail natural foods cooperative located in Albany, NY. HWFC’s mission is to provide the community with affordable, high quality natural foods and products for healthy living and promote more equitable, participatory and ecologically sustainable ways of living. Job duties include: Assisting managers in hiring and employee supervision; oversight of employee records maintenance and benefits administration; ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws; facilitation of collaborative/cooperative problem-solving among staff; supervision of HR department staff; leading our on-boarding program; coordination of employee training and professional development; and maintenance of the employee handbook.
This is a full-time salaried position.
