Our Co-op is in search of a creative, hard-working, dynamic individual to lead our Grocery Department.
As the Grocery Manager you’ll direct the operations of our center-store departments. That includes purchasing, pricing, inventory management, and merchandising for our dry, frozen, and refrigerated grocery departments as well as the bulk department. You will hire, train, and supervise an Assistant Manager as well as buyers and stockers.
Our ideal candidate will have retail experience, preferably in a grocery setting, and possess and understanding of retail concepts such as inventory, margin, and labor. We’re also looking for an individual with leadership and supervisory ability, who is an excellent communicator and possesses strong customer service skills.
This is a full time (40 hours per week) position with a salary that depends on the skills and experience that you bring to the table. This position requires a flexible schedule that includes mornings, evening and weekends. We offer health benefits, paid vacation and a 15% staff discount at the store.
