North Coast Co-op, one of the country’s largest consumer cooperatives with two stores in California’s Humboldt County, is seeking a Manager for our Arcata store. Reporting to the General Manager, the Store Manager is responsible for the operation of this large, full-service, Certified Organic Grocery. Supervising a staff of 90+ employees, the Store Manager leads the way in providing exceptional customer service to our 12,000 member owners. As part of our Management Team, they will participate collaboratively in the overall planning and management of the co-op. Interested applicants should have a background in natural foods, an understanding and commitment to the cooperative business model and a proven, successful management history. Experience working in a union environment is a plus. Bachelor’s degree preferred plus five years of progressive management experience, or an equivalent combination.
