Organic Valley was founded in 1988
as the Coulee Region Organic Produce Pool (CROPP). A cooperative of small family farmers, the organization dedicates itself to promoting regional farm diversity and economic stability. It seeks to accomplish these goals through the use of organic agricultural methods and the sale of certified organic products. Organic Valley defines "organic" as a system of philosophy and production that mirrors the natural laws of living organisms and emphasizes the interdependency of all life.

Frontier manufactures about 3,000 bulk and packaged herbs and spices, natural remedies, aromatherapy oils, organic coffees, and natural flavors. Certified organic products now exceed 500 items. We have over 140,000 sq. ft. of warehouse and offices in three locations: the main facility in Iowa, marketing offices in Boulder, Colorado, and an aromatherapy plant in N. California.

Since its founding in 1978 as one of the first community development loan funds in the country, NCDF has made millions of dollars in capital available to small consumer, worker, housing, and producer cooperatives and their members.

Focused on growth and sustainability, Once Again has nearly doubled the number of worker/owners in the past two years to 17. On the sustainability front, we have been developing products with grower and worker cooperatives in Nicaragua since 1994.
